Join Rep. Jackie Speier and advocates for a Google Hangout on ending campus sexual assault today

With the news of President Obama’s recently formed task-force on the issue, you may have noticed that there’s some really incredible momentum around campus sexual assault right now.

This afternoon, Congresswoman Jackie Speier and leaders from the Know Your IX campaign, the National Women Law Center, and the American Association of University Women will be hosting a Google Hangout discussion about what actions the Department of Education should take to end sexual violence on college campuses. Go here to join at 3 PM ET.

Thanks to the tireless work of student activists, powerful people are paying attention to this issue like never before, so it’s a great time to speak up and make your voice is heard. If you can’t join the Hangout, be sure to submit to the new Tumblr we highlighted last week.
