“Can’t we just talk about shoes?”

Today’s dose of casual sexism brought to you by the DC Metro.

DC Metro ad with woman asking, "Can't we just talk about shoes"

Women, amirite?

According to a Metro spokesperson, “The point of the ad is to get people talking about Metro’s massive rebuilding effort by juxtaposing technical facts with a variety of light responses in conversation between friends.”

I’m pretty sure that point has been lost as people are too busy making parodies of the ad.
