    I think the first article gets the intersectionality all backwards – men, particularly black men, are victims of violence more often than women; their deaths are prosecuted at a lower rate, and the conviction rates are lower when they are the victims in murder cases. These are all pretty well established statistical facts (citations on request). I think the author could really stand to have read Maya’s “I am not Trayvon Martin” article.
