Infographic: the tragedy of LGBT youth homelessness

I’m as thrilled as anyone by last week’s marriage equality victories in Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington. But did you know that as many as 40% of the young people living on the streets in America are LGBT? This infographic, from the Human Rights Campaign and the National Gay and Lesbian Taskforce, lays out the stats – and explains some of the solutions.
