Happy Birthday Katie!

Katie Halper is one of the newest additions to the Feministing team, and I’m thrilled to celebrate her birthday today! Battling the humorless feminist stereotype once sarcastic post at a time, Katie has been lending her sharp wit and caustic sense of humor to the site for about 6 months now. A comic and filmmaker, Katie is also a kind and caring friend and colleague who’s straight shooting candor I’ve come to really value in my life. Whether she’s making hard-hitting points about the death penalty or helping me find the best hole-in-the-wall eats on the lower east side, I’m so appreciate of her contributions and glad she’s part of the team. Happy birthday Katie!!
