Really appreciating this piece at the Nation about the cultural importance of Jeremy Lin.

Bernie Sanders asks what if there were 83 women in the Senate instead of men?

House Reps in Georgia passed an anti-abortion bill that would change when you can get an abortion from 26 weeks to 20 weeks. Opposition is bi-partisan, even Republican Rep. Sharon Cooper argued the bill is, “cruel and inhumane punishment” for women with complicated pregnancies and she voiced concern for working class and rural women who often can’t get to the doctor in time as it is.

Rush Limbaugh follows up on his comments on Sandra Fluke with the following, “So Miss Fluke, and the rest of you Feminazis, here’s the deal. If we are going to pay for your contraceptives, and thus pay for you to have sex. We want something for it. We want you post the videos online so we can all watch.” This is inexcusable, when will members of the GOP get a backbone and shut him down? We’ll wait….Media Matters has a round-up of all of Limbaugh’s comment, if you feel like torturing yourself.
