Campus today…

A few days ago, a Pro-Life group on my campus at Western Michigan University “chalked” several of the busiest walking areas with phrases life, “Your baby has fingernails” and “Your mom was Pro-Life.” Every time I walked by them it just made me angrier, and then I started seeing people posting on Facebook about how they found it too simplistic and offensive. I just couldn’t stop thinking about how many women have to walk by this on their way to class and feel targeted for the choices they have made. So this afternoon we took action and wrote our own response…
“Pro-Choice women are wives & daughters, students & professors, sisters & mothers. Not all issues are black and white, so let’s not demonize each other!”
I feel a lot better now.
(PS, I fixed the “h” in daughters, just didn’t get a good picture of it.)
