Happy 30th birthday Zerlina!

We have been so excited to have the lovely Zerlina Maxwell on our team of writers for the last few months. She has been an important addition to Feministing, both in her important coverage or political issues or saying what no one dares to say (lol), and internally, where she is constantly sending out emails in all caps about all the things that are infuriating her in the news–which is a lot of things–which is what makes her an awesome blogger. Also, Zerlina and I have become very good friends–which is pretty much the awesomest thing about our collective here: the luv.

So please join me in wishing the very motivated, charismatic, always tweeting and mega-gorgeous Zerlina a happy 30th birthday. Big ups to young women kicking ass. We are so much better with you here!
