Would love to see the Gloria Steinem documentary, hoping that there’ll be a free trial of HBO by that time.
Gay = Beer, Lesbian = Ice Cream flavor choice, when is a conservative politician going to compare Bisexuality to Pizza and Transgender to Milk and Cookies? Queers to kettle corn? LGBTQ is sounding yummier and yummier by the second.
I still want to watch “The Help”, because it’s more intresting than anything my relatives would normally watch (super-whitewashed silly movies like “You Again” and “High School Musical”) and place my own judgement. Should be an analysis fest and also to get back to the history books covering topics that my history classes in public school skipped over

When I saw the line “First Santorum says,” at first it sounded like a church (by analogy to “First Baptist [church] says we should pray more.”) I had to reread it a few times to parse it as “First, [Senator] Santorum says…”

I still like the image of Santorum as some sort of church in a weird offshoot of Christianity.
