Pink nail polish makes you trans, but a pink tie is a-ok

I noticed a little something in a few of the clips shown of Keith Ablow (yes, he of the gender-panic diatribes against the adorable J. Crew ad where a mother and son are shown and the boy’s toe nails are painted pink).  In multiple clips on Fox News, he is wearing a pink tie (see Valentine’s Day, and April 13 specifically).  So painting a boy’s toenails pink causes him to grow up to become gay or trans, but an adult male who claims this mother is doing harm can wear a pink tie without any sense of irony or hypocrisy?  “Pink is for grown men- see, I know I’m not gay, so it’s cool for me to wear.  But you, you might grow up to be gay, and so we must fight against that because the color pink is dangerous in the hands of the younger generation of males.  And THE WORST THING would be if there were more people who are gay or trans.”  Give me a frickin’ break.

I’m going to paint my toenails neon pink.  I think this mom is an awesome woman and her son sounds like a cool kid.
