Gang Rape of a Fifth Grader and Victim Blaming

You may ask, how can one blame an 11 year old girl for her own rape?

Well, apparently by reporting her viscous kidnapping and gang rape which was filmed, photographed, and distributed to other students then reporting that she wore clothes beyond her age, lots of make up, and hung around older boys instead of other little girls like she should have. Oh and just so she isn’t the only woman responsible for her rape, neighbors want to know, “Where was her mother?” A good question, but a better one would be were her PARENTS and family, and where were the families of all the 18 suspects who were apparently raised to think they could attack young girls?

Feel free to shoot the Author an email telling him what you think about victim blaming fifth graders by clicking his name and “Send an E-Mail to James C. McKinley Jr.” Don’t let this kind of reporting go unnoticed.

** Update: Apparently the town held a meeting to discuss concerns about the crime and it turned into a “forum for many to blame the girl.”
