guysmen are people, too. It’s not fair to single out one promotion (of Joe Nocera) using only the person’s race and gender to and accuse (explicitly or implicitly) the employer of racism/sexism. I mean, the very same article mentions that Trish Hall (a whitegalwoman) had a similar promotion earlier — which is at least a counterexample for the sexism charge.Not only are they installing another white guy when they could’ve done otherwise, they’re replacing a strong liberal voice with the guy who edited Fortune. Sad.
