Women’s Tattoos and Piercings

Hi everyone,

In my Women’s Studies class, I am working on a project on the tattoos, piercings, and body modifications in general of women. I need to poll both women and men about their body modifications. I’d appreciate it if anyone here would answer the following questions:

1. How many tattoos or piercings do you have?
2. Where are they located? Are they easy to hide?
3. What is their content?
4. Why did you get them?
5. What is their meaning to you?
6. In what ways, if any, have the tattoo/s or piercings affected the way other people, whether in casual or professional relationships, view you?

7. Do you identify as male or female?
