This Post is not About SATC 2

It is about the feminist response to SATC 2. In full disclosure I haven’t seen it yet and I may hate it and I may love it. What I want to say in this post is that I think it is great that the feminist response to this movie and there has been no lack of response to SATC 2. I remember for the first SATC flick the big story was that all the men hated it so much. Here is just a smattering of the buzz in the feminist Blogosphere about SATC 2:
BUST Likes it.
Feministe discussed racism
after a (kind of) defense
I guess I just wish there could be more issues with in the feminist network that we could be okay with disagreeing on. I know personally that there are some issues that I don’t fall neatly into the “correct” feminist perspective. We are often so quick to kill and eat our own here. I guess what makes this topic perfect is that it is a movie. Movies are trivial, especially big budget, Hollywood movies.
Let’s no throw anyone out of the movie because of their opinion on SATC 2. Maybe let’s not be so quick to throw anyone out of the movement, period.
