NYC Feministing (and Friends) Happy Hour: A Lower East Side Feminist Takeover

This is gonna be a biggie. As the summer is approaching and we’re itching to be out and about with our fellow feminists, we thought we would partner up with the amazing Paradigm Shift and Soapbox Inc. for our next NYC happy hour. For one night, the Lower East Side will officially become the Feminist District.

For those who don’t know Paradigm Shift, they are one of the most influential feminist community groups in NYC, and hold tons of feminist events, lectures, and films featuring leaders in feminist thought to foster conversation and bring people’s stories to the forefront.
Soapbox Inc. is the premiere feminist speaker’s bureau created by Jennifer Baumgardner and Amy Richards, who (as many of you already know) are two incredibly influential feminist authors and activists. Nuff said.
In short, if you’re a feminist and you live in or around NYC, you’re going to want to be at this event. Hope to see you there.
