Wow… that defs made me cry. Thanks for sharing, and kudos to the UN for stepping up and saying something. This might be the most visible stop sexual violence in conflict campaign I’ve ever seen!
Rape as a weapon of war is appalling, but… did they have to mention that the woman’s son was murdered? I mean, isn’t killing civilians (presumably children) even worse than raping them? It seems like it’s diluting the focus.
Also, the symbol that replaces the “O” in “stop” seems to be a Phillips-head screw. I think it would be better with a full X.
I liked Theron’s line about it being your relative – it brings it home.
