NPR’s health blog, Shots, points out not only that lung cancer kills more people than breast, prostate and colon cancer combined – but also that lung cancer diagnoses in women have increased six-fold over the last 30 years.

    This could simply be due to more effective or frequent lung cancer diagnoses. It’s not necessarily a “growing threat”.
