Will Phillips’ GLAAD Acceptance Speech.

Remember Will Phillips? Well last month he got an award from GLAAD for Outstanding TV Journalism segment for his amazing story of refusing to do the pledge of allegiance until all people have equal rights and its subsequent coverage on CNN.
I just got wind of his acceptance speech and I have to post it here even if it is a month late. It is just too good.

Can someone make me a t-shirt of, “look outside their tiny mind boxes,” ASAP?

Wow!!!! Neat!! Preteens sure have gone a long way since the 2000′s and in a world where “As Told by Ginger” and “The Wild Thornberries” have been canceled.

this little boy is sooo adorable. this video made me cry. seeing a child understand the need for equality is really touching, but also sad when you consider how many adults don’t, because they’re blinded by hatred and bigotry.
    i love this kid !

    A. I’m going to watch this when I’m feeling particularly jaded.
    B. I want to have kids, and when I do, I’m going to raise them with this attitude as the norm.
    C. Does this young person have a facebook page, and can I become his fan? :)
