Feministing turns 6 years old!

Happy birthday to us! Today marks our 6th year blogiversary and we couldn’t be prouder.  In the last six years, we’ve written nearly 11,000 posts about feminism, the personal, the political, pop culture, and everything in between. 

We’ve seen old friends leave and new ones join us; we’ve written books and spoken at colleges; we’ve done media appearances (some fun, some scary!) and all the while have continually looked for new, innovative and feminist ways to grow as a site and a community.

Since in honor of our 6 years in the blogosphere the tech gods have decided to punish us with server problems and no comments, I’m going to try and bring you some blogivesary goodness – the best of Feministing, the funniest, our favorites and more – throughout the day.  I hope you enjoy!
