Mama Cash reports that a coalition of African Lesbians is fighting back against new anti-homosexuality laws in Uganda and Rwanda.
The controversial Illinois parental notification law goes into effect tomorrow. The law requires that parents notify, but don’t necessarily get consent from, parents of girls 17 and under.

    I can’t imagine what one of my sister’s had to go through when she told my father that she was pregnant. I don’t know the whole story, but I do know that he paid for the procedure. If it had been me, I would have raised the money myself and not even opened that can of worms.

    I assume you mean that it requires *abortion providers* to notify parents.

    I thought that maybe 6 women being turned down was a bad coincidence at DePaul until I read this.
    “Of 18 male professors who were candidates for tenure, 16 got it.”
